Family Shabbat Service & Dinner: February 2020

Event Description
Join our Anshe Emet Family Kabbalat Shabbat Davening and Dinner on February 7th, 2020. Services begin at 5:45pm. Families with babies to kindergarten age will join Rabbi Donni Aaron & Max Handelman for a musical, story-filled service. Older school students will gather with Rabbi David Russo for a spirited Kabbalat Shabbat (Welcoming Shabbat) service.

After services, everyone comes together for a delicious community dinner at 6:30pm. If this is your first time joining us, the dinner is on us! We'll even set you up with a buddy family to show you the ropes.

This month's dinner is Baked Potato Bar with Vegetarian Chili (with gluten free options).

As always - our fabulous teen educators will be sharing story books with kids in small groups by age before dessert and play time in the gym.

Registration is required to attend the dinner, and we understand the challenges of planning with young children. If you need to cancel your registration for any reason by Monday, February 3rd, we will refund you your full payment. Any cancellations after this date will receive a 50% refund.

Early Bird Registration is through Tuesday, January 28th
Regular Registration is from Wednesday, January 29th to Friday, January 7th.

If you have allergies, please register by Tuesday, February 4th in order to notify the kitchen.

Kol Yisrael Arevim Zeh Bazeh - All of Israel Are Responsible for One Another
Anshe Emet believes the cost of Jewish life should never stand in the way of a family's celebration of Shabbat.

If you are able, please consider helping to cover the cost of this Shabbat meal for another family in our community. $10 helps one child celebrate Shabbat, and $72 covers Shabbat joy for an entire family.

If the cost of dinner is prohibitive for your family, please indicate that you will be paying by check, and contact Maxine Handelman at mhandelman@ansheemet.org or Rabbi David Russo at drusso@ansheemet.org to make alternate arrangements.

We value celebrating Shabbat with EVERY member of our community!
