Learning Well - Walking the Path: Judaism for Beginners

Walking The Path: Judaism for Beginners

with Rabbi Mira Rivera

Jewish practice is active sacred engagement. We are in dynamic relationship with the divine, the text and each other; (not necessarily in that order!) Wherever you are along your spiritual way, this year-long, two-semester course, offers to meet you there; and invites you to continue on your Jewish journey. Whether that means exploring conversion, approaching the tradition for the first time, or reinvigorating and reimagining your Jewish life.

Note:  Participants will have the option to be paired with mentors who will  be available as a resource for living Jewishly. There will also be a mid-year urban retreat where we will enjoy Shabbat meals and study together.

Note: Students may register for the fall semester, the spring semester, or for the full year. For those without prior Jewish education, this course is a required part of the conversion process at Romemu.
